Personality:
The first thing that most people notice about Kita is - aside from his height - his incredible ability to lead. If there's one thing he can do, it's that. In the world of soccer teams, he is the closest to a gang leader you'll meet (not counting actualy gang leaders of course - here's looking at you Tobitaka). He's got the impeccable ability to organize and command a group of kids who'd otherwise beat the shit out of each other without supervision, and not only that, but he does it well - while their plays are rough and tumble, they're done without question and with great organization. You don't get to be the captain of a team like Tengawara by being all flowers and sweets, though - Kita can not only match their stubbornness, their sassiness, their strength, and their spirit, but he can surpass it if he needs to. He's headstrong, he's firey, but most of all, he's got the kind of vitality a leader needs. But, despite the way it sounds, he's not a bully. Unlike some members of his team, he uses all of these traits for the better. While some may be stubborn, he's determined. While some may be hot headed, he's passionate. The list goes on! The team are the ones that get the brunt of this, though - if they need to hear something to get their asses in gear, then he's not gonna sugarcoat it or pussyfoot around. If someone needs to hear just how much they suck, then by god, they're gonna hear it.
Beneath his rough and tumble firey exterior though, lie a good heart and a wise spirit. Anyone can come to Kita with a problem, and he'd do his best to help them through it - no matter what it is. It's against his own moral code to not help those in need, so anyone can rely on him for just about anything. He'll protect people who need it, he'll lend them money when they're down - hell, he'd be willing to tutor someone if they need it. He's a good kid - kindhearted and strong. His wisdom is just more of that; his advice is rarely wrong, no matter the subject. Kita's also the kind to be aware that if times are tough, then they're hardly over; while he's not the most vocal about it, not many can match his sense of optimism. It's what keeps him going to the last minutes of a game, even if they're behind. Unfortunately this all means he can be overly serious or even a little oblivious about things - things like social cues or flirting can go right over his head (though with his height, that's not hard). He does have a sense of humor! It's just a little hard to find, sometimes.
When you're not considered a friend, though, there's a few sides of Kita that only you get to see - the most notable his his innate need to impress. If you're already his friend, then you won't see it; but he does try hard to impress those he's just met. Be it a fancy shoot, a feat of strength, or even solving a hard puzzle, it's bound to happen. That's not all, of course - you also get the end of his short temper, too. Sad to say, but his friends do get treated better than people whom he's just met; but that's only because he knows them better. He knows if they're being irritating on purpose or not, or if they're purposely trying to get on his nerves. Still means he might end up going off on you, though, if you're unlucky. All in all though... he's not that bad of a guy! It just takes some time to get to know who he really is. Have fun trying.
